If your group is looking for a leisurely paddle that highlights the unique swamp-like areas of South Carolina, the Congaree National Park Swamp tour is for you. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and explore what the Congaree waterways have to offer. Our guides will navigate you through the diverse Congaree Swamp system, highlighting various areas along the way. The little to no current along this section of the creek allows people of all skill levels to partake in our trip. Bring your fishing rod or a lunch as there are perfect places to pull off and enjoy nature's beauty.
Our Congaree National Park Swamp Tour offers everything your group needs to have a great day out enjoying the beautiful natural features of the Congaree Swamp. Your canoe, life jackets, paddles, and an experienced guide are all included in the price of the Congaree National Park Tour.
Palmetto Outdoors shuttles all the equipment out to Congaree National Park and your group just has to meet us at the Congaree National Park for a great time. Typically we paddle about an hour to an hour and a half into the interior of the swamp, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and paddle back to the launch site. This trip is perfect for both beginners and experienced river goers. Come out and discover a completely unique view of the Congaree waterways.

- 3 hour paddle through calm swamp waterways (typically 11:00-2:00)
- Includes boat, paddles, life jackets, and knowledgeable guide
- Guests meet guide and equipment at Congaree National Park. Google "South Cedar Creek Canoe Landing" as an address (cell service is poor in the park)
- Bald Cypress trees, Tall Pine trees, and Willow Oaks among other species
- Overhanging trees mixed with open areas for bird viewing
