Overview:
Adventurous paddlers will enjoy this section of the Lower Saluda River. Although just minutes outside the city's center, kayakers will discover a different side of Columbia when paddling through whitewater rapids and underneath Spanish Moss. Our Saluda Kayaking trip is a great trip for experienced river goers who have previous kayaking experience. This trip is roughly 3 miles in distance and consists of both whitewater rapids and flat water paddling.
This is not a trip that is suggested for beginners or guests who have never previously floated or boated the Saluda River. Please don't hesitate to give us a call if you are questioning if this is the right trip for your group and experience level.
Our Saluda Kayak Rental offers everything your group needs to have a great day out enjoying the beautiful natural features of Columbia. Your kayak, life jackets, paddles, and shuttle are all included in the price of the Saluda Kayak Rental. We shuttle you upstream and your group boats downstream about 3 miles to the Gervais Street bridge, where your car and dry clothes are waiting at the take out. This trip is only recommended for experienced river goers. Come out and discover a completely unique view of Columbia today.
